Gatineau, 9th August , 2019 – BBBSO holds a barbecue at Parc Moussette on Saturday, August 17, from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm, to which volunteers, youth and families from all their programs are invited. Several recreational activities are planned: bouncy castles, fantasy makeup, various animations, door prizes, music and much more!
SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND MORE!
Every year, the organization has a family BBQ where all the young people in attendance receive school supplies and clothes for back to school. Last year, the BBBSO served 1,415 young people in the Outaouais through the program panel they offer.
MORE THAN 1400 YOUNG PEOPLE served!
According to the data collected in the 2018-2019 annual report, the total number of program participants has quadrupled since 2016. The organization served 514 youths in 2017-2018 because of the “Jeunesse Envol” program and the increased demand for programs in general. From 2018-2019, they have managed to offer their programs to 1415 young people.
BBBSO MAKES A DIFFERENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY
BBBSO is very active in our community. It is in collaboration with elementary and secondary schools and community centers and organizations that the organization offers its programs and adapts them as needed.
Positive feedback from parents and partners abounds and volunteer service offerings continue to grow.
