We make a difference in youth’s lives
Since 1983, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Outaouais (BBBSO) has been affiliated with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada (BBBSC). As such, the organization operates in accordance with the national standards established by BBBSC.
Since its founding in 1903, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada has positively impacted the lives of more than 40,000 children and youth across over 1,100 communities throughout the country.
Since 1983
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Outaouais is a non-profit organization that has been providing high-quality mentoring programs to children and youth throughout the Outaouais region since 1983. These programs connect young people with positive role models who help them build self-confidence, develop healthy life habits, and stay engaged in school.
In doing so, the organization plays an active role in addressing a range of social challenges, including social isolation, violence, school dropout, low self-esteem, and juvenile delinquency.
